Race Car Wraps from Arizona Designs

You may have seen a blog post from last month about wrapping the drag race prepped Honda Civic we wrapped to help promote Autism awareness. While this wrap was for a great cause, it’s not the only race car wrap we have done for a good cause. The Cherokee High Racing Association (CHRA) program at Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ is an extracurricular club run by the school which allows students to work on and drag race their very own race car. Arizona Designs has been a proud supporter of the CHRA program for over 15 years and wrapped their current race Camaro free of charge. We collaborated with the club on a design for the vehicle wrap and then we wrapped the whole car to give it a wild look when racing down the ¼ mile in almost 10 seconds!

Other Race Car Wraps and Graphics

Arizona Designs not only wraps and designs graphics for drag race cars, but we do any type of race car that comes through our doors. Road racers to sprint cars and exotics to kit cars, we’ve seen, and wrapped, them all. Check out a few examples of our race car wraps and graphics below.

Kidsville News and Arizona Designs, helping promote literacy together

If you haven’t heard of Kidsville News, your children, nieces, nephews, or grandkids probably have. Found in local schools, Kidsville News is a fun and educational resource for kids that interesting stories and activities for younger school-age children. The best part about this newspaper is it’s free and has been since 1998. We love anything to do with kids and proudly support endeavors like Kidsville News that help develop reading skills and promote literacy among our youth.

You may be asking yourself, “What does Kidsville News have to do with Arizona Designs?” Because this educational resource is only locally available in certain places like schools, libraries, museums, theatres, after-school programs, and summer camps, it needs to be delivered by hand to each location. South Jersey’s local Kidsville News affiliate in Mount Laurel reached out to us to liven up their flagship delivery vehicle with a wrap. Upon completion, the Kidsville News mascot “Truman” helped unveil the finished product.

Arizona Designs is always happy to help the local community and our children. Through the design and installation of the Kidsville News delivery vehicle’s wrap, we hope it raises awareness for this invaluable educational publication. If you need a vehicle wrap for your local organization, contact us to find out how we can help. Race Car Vehicle Wrap for Autism Awareness

A few months ago, Arizona Designs was approached by All Out Racing to wrap a drag race Honda Civic. The car owner’s son has autism, so he thought, what better way to promote awareness than with a vehicle wrap?

The car itself was a wild machine; it was equipped with a turbocharger, race tires, carbon fiber, rear diffuser, and even a parachute! A car like this would certainly turn heads at the race track, so the owner was sure it would raise awareness for autism. We took the Autism Speaks puzzle piece graphics and created the design from this pattern. We took the design one step further when we put his child’s face INSIDE many of the puzzle pieces! This was a great example of combining graphics with photos to create a unique design that stands out.

Arizona Designs was proud to design and install the wrap on this race car. We hope that it helped raise awareness through the unique design and personalized touch. We are always looking for new ideas and organizations to help. Visit our portfolio to see examples of our vehicle wraps and then stop in or call us at 800-600-1412 to see why we’re South Jersey’s premier vehicle wrapping company.

Wounded Warrior Project: 1969 Camaro

On this 4th of July, Arizona Designs would like to reflect back on a great project we were a part of a few years ago:

In June 2009, a client came to Arizona Designs with a unique vinyl wrapping project in mind. The car was a 1969 Camaro SS owned by Philadelphia resident Carmen Brancato. Brancato came to Arizona Designs after visiting the Brooke Army Medical Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, which included the Center for the Intrepid, a multi-million dollar state of the art rehabilitation facility. Brancato wanted to do something to help the wounded men and women of our armed forces continue to receive superior care and rehabilitation so he decided to promote awareness of the Wounded Warrior Project, which has programs established to help the wounded and their families. He felt the best way to raise awareness was to vinyl wrap his ’69 Camaro.

We only had a few weeks to complete the project, but we were up to the challenge. We first designed imagery to be used on the wrap and once that was approved, we got started on the Camaro. After many tireless nights and early mornings, we finished the wrap in time for July 4th. The wrapping project was a hit at many events and locations, such as:
  • Military Bases
  • Hospitals
  • NASCAR races
  • Concerts, including Toby Keith and Brad Paisley
  • SEMA show in Las Vegas (including the 11 states it crossed to get there from PA)
  • Barry McGuire’s TV show Car Crazy on SpeedTV
  • And many more!
Arizona Designs loves to reflect on this great fundraising and awareness-raising project and we are proud to be a part of it. Please visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org for more information about this great organization. Thank you to the troops for their service and keeping America free!

Wall Wraps

Like vehicle wraps, wall wraps are a great way to change the color or design of your wall without the permanency of paint and semi-permanency of wallpaper. The vinyl used for interior wall wrapping is similar to that used for vehicle wrapping in that it applies virtually seamlessly, smooth, and can be removed without damaging the underlying paint. Because the imagery is printed digitally, we can print almost any digital picture as long as it’s not copyrighted or licensed.

Wall wraps have many applications, such as:
  • Kids’ bedrooms
  • Playrooms
  • “Man Caves”
  • Basements
  • Garages
  • And many more!
Have a themed bedroom designed for your child but your painting skills are lacking? Check out this SpongeBob Squarepants-themed room we did for The Ronald McDonald House in Camden, NJ:

(Note: The imagery depicted was licensed by Nickelodeon; however, special
permission was granted for Arizona Designs to install the wall wrap.)

Have a memorable photo you took at a sporting event or would like a theme for your garage or “man cave?” We can digitally enlarge your photo to be used on a wall wrap. Check out these NASCAR photos taken by the customer that Arizona Designs turned into a wall wrap:
